- Publish information to demonstrate how they are complying with the PSED – schools must update this published information at least every year
- Prepare and publish equality objectives – schools must update these objectives at least once every 4 years
The PSED was introduced by the Equality Act 2010 and applies to all schools, including maintained schools, academies, independent schools, maintained nursery schools, and maintained and non-maintained special schools.

Babraham School's Equality Objectives
As part of the Public Sector Equality Duty, the headteacher and governors agree on the school's equality objectives. These are reviewed annually and a new set of objectives is created at the beginning of each academic year.
